I wanted to post this in case anyone ever registers for an event and is promised credit.

They have kept my money from last year to give me credit for this year. This is they say our policy is no to do that! 

Whoever was supposed to keep my funds for this year has dropped the ball and won't admit it.

These people are cruel.

This is the letter I sent to the WSO secretary to see if anything can be done. If you know how I can get my credit back please let me know.

Dear ACA World Service,

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the handling of my Camp Recovery registration payment from last year.

I registered and paid for Camp Recovery last year but was unable to attend due to dangerous road conditions at the time. When I contacted the organizers, I was told that instead of issuing a refund, my payment could be applied as a credit toward a future Camp Recovery. Based on that representation, I agreed to the credit and did not pursue a refund.

I have now been told that this credit will not be honored. This is deeply concerning, as it contradicts the arrangement that was communicated to me when I raised the issue last year. I relied on that assurance when I agreed not to request a refund.

This situation has caused unnecessary stress and disappointment. I expect that commitments made to participants will be honored, particularly when financial matters are involved.

I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and that the previously offered credit be honored, or that my payment be refunded. I would also appreciate a clear explanation of how this situation occurred and what steps will be taken to ensure that participants are not placed in similar situations in the future.
