New on the board

Does anyone else here suffer from Generalized Anxiety Disorder? Also, does anyone use the Calm app? I find it very helpful. One challenge that I face is REALLY being able to love myself, or feel worthy of love. And the feedback that I get from my wife, supports this observation. Many times I hear that I dont relay care for her, because I dont care for myself. Is anyone else in the same boat?

Welcome to MIP, John!

Yes, I have been diagnosed with GAD.  I have medical marijuana to help me sleep sometimes.

I also have a big issue with loving myself, which came from Mom.  I think I love hubby more than myself.

I believe that there are a lot of parallels between GAD, ACA, and other conditions.  Keep coming back; I bet you will find people to relate to here!!

P.S.: Most of our shares are on the Main Page; click the button above.

Hi John. I have GAD. Snd PTSD. And really how can I love another if I dont love me? The slogan let it begin with me comes to mind and that is so true. We must have a healthy self love before we can share that with others. Getting into the program really helped me I kept the focus on myself and little by little by little I am loving myself more and more and it is radiating out to others in a much more healthy way
