Where do I start?

Hi all, I'm just discovering about ACA and stumbled upon this site after listening to a podcast. Where/how do I start this journey?

Welcome to MIP, Chris!

As a suggestion, you could just surf around the main Forum until you feel comfortable replying.  There is some good information pinned at the top of the Forum.  There is also a Tuesday night chat meeting.

Please let me or mamalioness know if you have any questions.

Welcome to the family!!

Hi Chris. I did the same exact thing in July. Had never even heard about ACA until I heard about it on a podcast. And then I thought.. my daughter needs this. And I looked at the materials.. and said.. wait.. I need this!!

I'm so glad you found us! You are in for the most exciting and unveiling experiences of your life. I recommend you order the Big Red Book either through the ACA website or Amazon.. or wherever you want. We are here for you individually and collectively. Welcome! Welcome!! Welcome!!!

I'm right there with you. I have no idea what I am doing. I didn't know about this until my therapist recommended a book for me. She was spot on.

I have the BRB, Ive read it, now Im attending ITR meetings and want to start my healing journey. Im looking for a fellow traveler/sponsor to guide me through this. Im new to ACA. But I fully, and frighteningly, identify with so many many of the characteristics. O god where has ACA been all my life. Why didn't I know that my inner child suffers from deep shame and abandonment? How can I reclaim him and go through life with ease and confidence?
